In manufacturing the recurring problem is an SAP or Business One estate that handles the ledger well and the job badly: quoting, routing, shop-floor booking and estimated-versus-actual costing sit outside it, in spreadsheets. In clinical settings the problem is data that exists in several systems and agrees in none, with HL7 v2 and FHIR interfaces that were configured once and never revisited. In professional services it is document production and matter records spread across file shares.
In every case the work is a layer that fits the operation and integrates with what is already there, not a replacement programme that stops the business for a year.

A fixed-fee discovery sprint, run partly on site, producing an architecture document, integration map, phased estimate and risk register — the artefacts a German governance process needs before a build is approved. The fee is credited against the build if you proceed.

The default is our UK entity under English law. Where German governing law or a German contracting arrangement is a firm requirement, raise it at the outset and we will tell you plainly what is and is not possible rather than discovering it at signature.
We treat works council consultation as a delivery dependency with its own lead time, particularly where a system records individual performance data. Practically that means designing reporting so that operational metrics do not become unagreed individual monitoring, and documenting what the system does and does not record.
